A Witmer Road woman told sheriff's deputies that her car was broken into recently while parked behind her apartment complex in Wheatfield. The victim told deputies that someone broke into the vehicle between 1 and 7 a.m. May 2, stealing a gym bag containing $50 in cash and various personal effects. Loss was estimated at $76.
