To whet theatergoers' appetites for the coming season, Buffalo United Artists will reprise its one-night, sold-out July production of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" on Wednesday in its eponymous theater at 119 Chippewa St. But the performance, which doubles as a company fundraiser, comes with a very Buffalo United Artists-brand twist: It will present the female version of the popular comedy and will star Jimmy Janowski and Lauren Fox (in drag, naturally) as the couple.

The show comes as Sally Struthers, who originated the role of Florence (the female version of the neurotic Felix of the original show) opposite Rita Moreno's slovenly Olive (formerly Oscar) on Broadway in 1985, is at Artpark in the musical revue "All Shook Up!"
