Kevin Dostie and the Buffalo Bandits received a loud and clear message from their coach, Darris Kilgour, at practice earlier in the week: Their play in the season opener was unacceptable.

The Bandits' offense essentially never did get going in a 10-5 loss in Rochester, and Kilgore made it clear to his team that a performance like that can not be tolerated -- especially to a divisional rival. He wants more scoring in tonight's home opener against those same Knighthawks in HSBC Arena (7:30 p.m., Radio 1520 AM, telecast on nll.com).
