The Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site, which turns 40 today, will expand to its 1901 boundaries, thanks to a donation by Bank of America of land bordering the property.
The addition of 6,500 square feet on the site's southwest corner, now occupied by a mid-century glass-and-concrete bank branch that closed in March, will return green space, allow parking access from Delaware Avenue, double the number of parking spaces and enhance visibility of the Ansley Wilcox House.See the full content of this document
