MOOSIC, Pa. -- Buffalo Bisons first baseman/designated hitter Valentino Pascucci, who flirted with the International League's RBI championship most of the season, is going to the major leagues for the first time since 2004.
The 32-year-old Pascucci, who last played for the Montreal Expos in the final games of their franchise history, had his contract purchased by the New York Mets following the Herd's 5-1 loss to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in the season finale at PNC Field.
