Chet Carmichael didn't have the longest of baseball careers, playing all of four seasons in organized ball. But he had a couple of moments that any player would be proud to put on a resume.

First off, he made the major leagues. Carmichael pitched two games for the Cincinnati Reds in 1909. Yes, no one confused him with Christy Mathewson, but how many of us would like to say they pitched even once in the big leagues? What's more, he threw seven innings and gave up six runs but none of them were earned. So he has an earned-run average in the major leagues of 0.00 forever. No one will ever beat that mark.
