Summary


When the Buffalo Braves were at their best in the 1973-74 season, they boasted an awesome offensive machine. Bob McAdoo was scoring, Ernie DiGregorio was dealing, Randy Smith was running, Gar Heard was rebounding, and Jim McMillian was doing a little bit of everything.

In fact, all five of the Braves' starters averaged in double figures that season, still the only time that's been done in NBA history. What's more, the team added some needed depth in a trade completed February 1. Kevin Kunnert and Dave Wohl were sent to the Houston Rockets for Jack Marin and Matt Goukas.
