It was 9 p.m. on Thursday "Date Night" when Tami and I decided to quench our evening thirst. Upon entering Sam's Delway Cafe, we approached the L-shaped bar where the brunette bartender greeted us with a pleasant smile. Her friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease.

Sam's has been serving up spirits in the City of Tonawanda since 1991. Several other "Delway Cafe's" have preceded Sam's, dating as far back as the 1940s, making this something of a living time capsule.
