Summary


Webster's defines a community as "a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society." This definition was rattling around my brain-box as I attended the Induction Gala for the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Class of 2011 at the Tralf Music Hall recently.

The soiree marked the 28th time the HOF has inducted a loosely affiliated group of musicians and music industry types into its honor roll. I've attended more of these galas than I can recall with any accuracy by this point. But something about this year felt different.
