Summary
We have all been in the hospital at one time or another. Someone in the family mom, dad, maybe a spouse, perhaps a child -- was sick or undergoing a medical procedure or an operation. During that time we were caught up in the personal drama of the situation, maybe unaware of what was happening around us. The anxiety we felt of a loved one in dire straits was all-consuming.
Did we take the time to notice what the nurses were doing? While we questioned the doctors regarding the severity of the case, were the nurses invisible? We were probably feeling sorry for ourselves, asking: Why is this happening to me?
