Summary
When Michael Meldrum died last Thursday after a long battle with liver disease, area musicians and music fans felt the loss immediately. Friends, bandmates, aspiring songwriters and veteran performers all poured out their heartfelt memories of a man who had offered inspiration and encouragement to them over the three-plus decades he sat at the center of the Buffalo folk music scene.
