Gardeners Should Listen to the Landscaper

Summary


Gardeners are quick to criticize landscapers, often unfairly. Gardeners often say, "They're all about the hardscape. They use the same old cookie-cutter designs. They don't know much about plants - - certainly not about perennials. They abuse and neglect the plants."

Indeed, that's descriptive of some landscapers who take the name because they own the truck and tools. It is not descriptive of the professional, educated segment of the landscape profession, those who have been educated in the broad fields of landscape design and horticulture.
