It took all of 90 seconds Thursday night for Silver Creek to show it was the underdog on paper only against defending state champion Randolph in the Section VI Class D championship game.

The Black Knights jumped out to a 7-0 lead on their third play from scrimmage, led by 21-0 in the third quarter and finally survived for a 21-14 win on a frigid, wet evening at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
