It was downright arctic outdoors when Jeff and I pulled into the miniature parking lot situated to the right of My Little Margie's. We ushered ourselves in to a partially full bar area with a crime drama airing on a single television behind the bar.

An older gentleman with a gray Bills sweatshirt sauntered over to us once we sat down on a pair of high-backed tan bar stools and served us a pitcher of Coors Light and a double of Jim Beam on the rocks for $12. After serving us our drinks, he took a seat at the end of the bar. The split second another patron's beer was empty, the bartender was up and refilling his glass. "Gracie's coming in at 9, so you won't have to look at my ugly mug all night," he remarked, which got a laugh from most of us.
