Buffalo Public School Superintendent James A. Williams has long insisted that he has a plan to bring in the millions in federal turnaround funds available to the district's low-performing schools. But the plan tends to fall short in the eyes of state officials and, unfortunately, those are the only sets of eyes that count.
The district will resubmit a revised grant application some time in the next few months, though it could be sooner. Hopefully, local officials will have taken to heart the state's viewpoint.See the full content of this document
