After last season's mixed repertory program by Neglia Ballet Artists, I wrote that those who missed it missed perhaps the best program by a local dance troupe in a decade.

Saturday night in Buffalo State College's Rockwell Hall, the company outdid itself once again, with another jampacked, top-to- bottom golden evening of mostly classical ballet. Included was a tribute performance by Sergio Neglia, artistic director of Neglia Ballet Artists, in an excerpt from the ballet, "The Witch Boy" -- a role for which his late father, Jose Neglia, won the Nijinsky prize in 1968, when he was a principal dancer in Argentina's Colon Theatre ballet.
