Born in Brooklyn, Justin Booth moved to Buffalo in the mid- 1990s, when he was recruited to play basketball for Buffalo State College. Since graduating in 2000, he has wrapped his 6-foot-9- inch frame around a bicycle as his primary means of transportation.

The director of Green Options Buffalo (www.greenoptions.buffalo.org) has helped launch many environmental initiatives through advocacy, infrastructure improvements and community programs, including Buffalo Blue Bicycle and Recycle-A- Bicycle. But what really makes Booth smile is time spent in the garden of his West Village home. Married with three children, Booth, 31, is a credible ambassador for urban cycling.
