Robert E. Hooper Jr., an Army veteran of World War II, died Friday after a brief illness in Haines City, Fla., where he was a seasonal resident. He was 91.
Born in Buffalo, Mr. Hooper served with Army in New Guinea, the Philippine Islands and Japan during World War II. He was a life member of Frontiersmen Post 7545, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in the City of Tonawanda, and traveled to Washington, D.C., in 2010 with Honor Flight Buffalo.See the full content of this document
