Paul Ceraulo, of Buffalo, a World War II veteran and former manager of Sammy's Foods, died Wednesday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a brief illness. He was 91.

Born in Campobello di Licata, Sicily, Mr. Ceraulo emigrated to the United States in 1926 with his older brother, Sam, and his mother, Grace, to join with his father, John, who was already in Buffalo. After shining shoes and holding other odd jobs through the Great Depression, Mr. Ceraulo joined the Army and served during World War II in Europe with the 838th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion.
