Summary
After being cooped up all winter, one of summer's greatest pleasures is having a drink on a patio overlooking the lake. McKenzie's Bar & Grille on Lake Shore Road fills the bill, providing a view that just doesn't quit. And, if it's too windy for outside seating, indoors works just as well.
Given the stone lighthouse perched atop its red metal roof, this place isn't tough to find. Tammy and I stop in for a drink on an evening that isn't quite patio-friendly, so we take a seat at one of the high tables in the barroom, right in front of a huge picture window. With Foit's razed, we can look out at the expanse of Lake Erie, watch the windmills twirl away, gaze at the Buffalo skyline, and even catch a glimpse of the Canadian shoreline.See the full content of this document
