1. The birds are singing. The flowers are blooming. And the Buffalo Bisons open their 125th baseball season today. They're on the road, visiting the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees. Game time is 7:05 p.m., and there's rain in the forecast. In the broadcast booth (WWKB 1520 AM) will be Ben Wagner, the Voice of the Bisons, accompanied by color analyst Duke McGuire, who's been associated with the team for some 30 years. The weather should be better for the Herd's home opener in Coca-Cola Field next Wednesday afternoon.

2. All eyes in the sports world and beyond are on Augusta, Ga., today as Tiger Woods tees off in the Masters Tournament (ESPN, 3 p.m.), his first competition since the sex scandal. Now that he's stood before a 34-minute news conference to deal with the latest round of inquiries about his personal life, one big question remains -- does he have his "A" game? Most analysts figure he'll make the cut after 36 holes, but winning? They don't think so.
