Two lighted Apple logos flanking the Apple store's entrance had gone dark Thursday as somber fans and users at Walden Galleria remembered the wildly successful company's fallen founder.

Kat Riordan, of Buffalo, called Steve Jobs "a genius." Mike Rizzo, of Buffalo, dubbed him "The Thomas Edison of our time." D.J. Shoemaker, of Williamsville, called him a "revolutionary."
