Tonawanda Town Board Opposes County On Libraries, Rodent Control

Funding cuts in the proposed 2011 Erie County budget would devastate the two remaining library branches in the Town of Tonawanda, as well as efforts to control the local rodent population, town lawmakers said Monday night.

The Town Board unanimously approved two separate resolutions on those issues in advance of Wednesday's public hearing on the county budget at 5 p.m. in the chambers of the Erie County Legislature.
