Tonawanda City School District Outlines Cyberbullying Policy

Summary


With social networking and texting becoming routine in many lives, the Tonawanda City School District is taking steps to make sure its students don't fall prey to the darker side of the routine. Administrators outlined their policies to prevent cyberbullying during a School Board meeting last week.

According to recent national statistics, about one in four students are bullied at some point in their lives, and now students can be harassed through Facebook and texting.
