Summary
An inspired pairing marks the third installment of this summer's Thursday at the Square lineup, as venerated jam band Blues Traveler shares the bill with Buffalo native and power-pop auteur Willie Nile, beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Led by blues harp virtuoso John Popper, Blues Traveler has spent the past 20 years turning itself into one of the tightest live ensembles extant. The band is taking a break from the recording of its forthcoming studio album to hit the road for some summer concert action, and the Square date is the third stop on a tour that will take Popper and company through August. Nile is in the midst of touring behind his excellent "The Innocent Ones" album, fitting tour dates around work on that album's follow-up.See the full content of this document
