Goose season began in weather conditions more akin to a Louisiana hunt than sitting in a blind somewhere in Western New York.

A heavy rain just before sunrise and temperatures nearing 80 degrees by 10 a.m. had our crew of Safari Club International members and friends pondering if the birds would hit the ponds they have over-populated throughout the summer.
