Summary

Game analysis: We might as well get used to St. Bonaventure being a team that's going hang around long enough so the game can end in some kind of last-second drama or ? better yet- in overtime. The Bonnies played four overtime before beating Ohio University last Saturday and played one more Thursday night in Rochester against Virginia Tech. This time Bona came out on the losing end, 76-68.

Why St. Bonaventure lost: After Ogo Adegboye sent the game into OT with a three-pointer, the Bonnies couldn't locate the basket, shooting 1-for-5 in the extra period. Yes, star big man Andrew Nicholson went down for the final time with leg cramp with 38 seconds left in OT, but the Bonnies were already down by eight points. Bonnies coach Mark Schmidt said Nicholson had been bothered by leg cramps for most of the game.
