Harold L. "Harry" Wahl, a retired senior electrical planner for Niagara Mohawk and assessor for the Town of Wales, died Friday in his home in South Wales. He was 70.

Born in Buffalo, he attended Fourteen Holy Helpers Elementary School, attended Bishop Timon High School for two years and graduated from West Seneca High School in 1959. He attended the University of Buffalo, then earned a degree in electrical mechanical engineering in 1962 from Erie County Technical Institute, now Erie Community College.
