A new workplace-readiness program that helps adults with developmental disabilities has been a real learning experience -- for both the students and their teachers.

The prevocational program enhances workplace skills for adults who participate in programs offered by Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, including piecework and packaging jobs. More than 100 people with developmental disabilities work at sites in Niagara Falls and Lockport, and others do volunteer work.
